Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional and driven Sr. Content and Brand Manager to collaborate with product management, marketing, and business development to create content and collateral geared towards attracting, informing, and engaging Murata Power Solutions prospects and customers. This position is responsible for creating content in multiple formats, including: Social media content, YouTube videos, webinars, blogs, white papers, datasheets, video scripts, and infographics that will be used on our website, social media outlets, internal training, and by our business development teams to share with potential customers.

The role is responsible for measurably driving awareness and demand generation for our businesses via various media channels, while creating engaging customer experiences aligned to our targeted markets and managing the Marketing/Communications team members to achieve these goals.
 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create content for internal and external audiences across all product lines and corporate entities.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to understand the immediate and long-term needs and create a cadence of content creation.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to create content explaining the product vision in tangible terms.
  • Understand Murata Power Solutions product features and capabilities to translate to industry-specific use cases and create marketing collateral painting the benefits of using the products/technology.
  • Demonstrated success growing social media channels.
  • Develop an audience centric approach for social media activity with appropriate tonality.
  • Manage social channels in support of the company’s business objectives, including revenue, qualified leads, brand presence and awareness.
  • Plan and execute an industry-leading social strategy that drives awareness and demand generation through implementation on current and emerging social channels.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication techniques, as well as time management skills.
  • Strong results orientated and business driven mentality.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage schedules and deadlines for multiple projects.
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to communicate crisply and clearly at appropriate levels.

Experience Required

  • 7+ years of experience in content creation or a product marketing role.
  • Strong grounding in technical skills to understand requirements of customers in the company’s target markets. 
  • Creative and Innovative mind capable to take complex technical ideas break them down into easily understandable media content with impactful language invoking a call to action.
  • Strong team player required; this is a role for a strong team contributor, who can work cross functionally to develop compelling company content.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills.
  • Accomplished in Photo editing software (Photoshop), Video creation and editing software, Presentation Software (PowerPoint).
  • Fast learner, able to understand new technologies and software products that become available to enhance content creation and messaging.
  • Experience marketing manufactured electronic end products in a B2B environment is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this position is $155,000/year - $175,000/year.
