Position Summary

The Quality Systems Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance of the Quality System Manual, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the Company.  Leading continuous improvement initiative to the quality system. Tasks also include Functional Safety Management role on NPI project teams. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO 9001, OHAS 18001, ISO 26262), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures.
  • Regulate, control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product.
  • Serve as Functional Safety Manager on NPI projects adhering to ISO 26262.
  • Manage audits to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.
  • Ensure that all in-house systems, procedures, and documentation are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
  • Assist in setting department key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure maximized output from the department.
  • Perform other tasks not specifically mentioned herein.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree (5-7 years’ experience) or Master’s Degree (3-5 years’ experience) in a technical or related field.
  • Experienced with electric vehicle power conversation technologies, standards, and regulations.
  • Certified Automotive Functional Safety Professional on ISO 26262.
  • Familiar with automotive product development process including APQP/PPAP and ASPICE.
    Familiar with automotive requirement management tools JIRA/DOORS, IQ-FMEA, HARA.
    ISO 26262 Functional Safety: 3 years minimum (Required).
  • ISO 9001: 5 years minimum (Required).
  • ISO 14001: 3 years minimum (Required).
  • IATF 16949: 5 years minimum (Required).
  •     Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  •     Strong knowledge of the latest Automotive tools and techniques.
  •     Automotive Quality Management System Auditing experience and managing audit programs.
