Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of IT and Digital Transformation to lead our organization through a transformative digital journey. This strategic thinker and tactical implementer will oversee the seamless integration of software tools, ensure data integrity with a single source of truth, and analyze IT systems to streamline business processes through automation and advanced technologies. The ideal candidate will develop capabilities in the IT department and the wider organization to spearhead digital transformation initiatives to drive efficiency, innovation, and agility across the enterprise.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that drives digital transformation across the organization.
  • Identify and prioritize digital transformation initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Identify and prioritize technology investments that enhance innovation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights on emerging technologies and digital trends.

Digital Innovation and Technology Adoption

  • Lead the implementation of advanced technologies, including AI, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and IoT.
  • Oversee the development and integration of digital platforms and tools.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that align with the organization’s transformation goals.

Business Process Optimization/Re-engineering (BPR)

  • Reevaluate and optimize key business processes using cutting-edge digital technologies to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies by applying business process reengineering principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

System Integration & Data Management

  • Enhance the “Digital Thread” within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, focusing on business process and data integration within Aras Innovator.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data integration and availability across systems to enable informed decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Drive enterprise-wide data integration efforts to enable real-time analytics, decision-making, and scenario planning.

Technology Evaluation and Implementation

  • Analyze and implement IT tools that align with business objectives, streamline operations, and enhance user experience.
  • Drive adoption of advanced analytics to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage and optimize the IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee IT service delivery and support across global operations.
  • Monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of IT initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of IT priorities with business needs.
     

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a Director or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation projects within a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of business systems, including ERP/MRP, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Supply Chain Planning (SCP)
  • Expertise in AI, machine learning, process automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong experience in improving data integration and developing enterprise-wide data strategies.
  • Proven ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance standards, and global IT regulations.

Work Environment

This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this role is $200,000/year to $220,000/year.
