Position Summary

The candidate is expected to be a problem solver, able to act on their own initiative to meet and exceeding customer expectations. Candidate will work with both internal and external customers in an effort to provide a high level of Customer Service.  Candidate will monitor and manage backlog, expedites and change requests.  Candidate will be first point of contact for customer issues and complaints.  Candidate must possess strong negotiation/communication skills and be detailed oriented.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Primary contact and interface for customers regarding orders, backlog, expedites, change requests, and customer updates. 
  • Initiates required action for responses to customer service requests for order placement, changes, including the maintenance of order and associated customer changes.
  • Assist in resolution of customer issues and complaints.
  • Monitors customer backlog to maintain optimum performance of shipments.
  • Process cancellation requests as required and work with RMA Coordinator to ensure full customer support on RMA, credit memos and debit memos.
  • Liaison between customer other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable Dept in resolving open issues and conflicts.
  • Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • PC skills required, Microsoft Products preferred
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize
  • Multi-tasking

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years or more related experience and/or training is preferred but not required.
  • Have knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
