Position Summary

Reporting to the Sustaining Engineering Team Leader, you will assist in the objective of providing high reliable, quality solutions to our customers through the design and development of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies.  In this role, you will:

  • have experience working with customers utilizing AC/DC & DC/DC power products.
  • be innovative, creative, and resourceful with regard to technical engagements with potential customers and problem-solving.
  • be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, have good organization skills and be willing to go the extra mile to achieve goals and objectives.
  • be a self-starter, highly motivated, team player with a background in power electronics.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

•    Provide customers with technical support and application guidance for MPS products.
•    Assist Product Managers, Business Development and Sales supporting new opportunities in a technical manner.
•    Provide the relative technical input to enable Data sheet creation and maintenance for your Product line.
•    Provide technical marketing input to the internal development teams during the project management process of new product design.
•    Prepare Application Notes specific to the use of MPS products.
•    Create training material to support Sales business development and Marketing.
•    Create technical content for use on social media.
•    Perform Competitor Analysis

Education

Associates in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

Experience Required

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience, or 3-year technical diploma (BSEE).
•    2-3 years’ experience involving sales & technical customer engagement related to power electronics. 
•    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
•    Familiarity with target markets. i.e., Wireless infrastructure equipment, telecommunications, networking, wireless amplifier, computing and industrial.

This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

This position may require domestic and international travel (10%)
