Position Summary
The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for planning production for finished goods and NPI builds to meet customer needs. This role is a core member of the team that manages global supply chain. This role is a leader in driving system and process improvements as well as being a key member of the Integrated Business Planning Team. This role is also responsible for managing material supply at Calex.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Planning & Materials Management
- Lead overall production planning for the site.
- Drive planning and material flow to support production requirements.
- Train new hires in material transactions, shipping processes, and receiving procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide production status updates to management
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of goods.
Metrics & Reporting
- Monitor purchase price variance and inventory turns using financial reports.
- Track and report on-time delivery from suppliers and to customers, including site-level KPIs.
- Perform spend analysis, material assessments, and historical trend analysis.
Compliance & Auditing
- Audit supply chain processes, tools, and performance to ensure compliance or identify improvement needs.
- Serve as supply chain lead for internal and external audits related to supply chain policies and procedures.
Collaboration & Project Support
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to capture, document, and adjust forecasts based on market changes, new product launches, large projects, and analytics.
- Support financial activities such as check deposits.
- Set project timeframes and priorities, with effective tracking and management of progress.
Experience Required
- BA in business or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years relevant experience in supply chain management. - Knowledge of warehouse management operations and inventory control methods in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively with little direct supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external partners.
- Experience with PDM/PLM and ERP systems.

Compensation Data
Salary range for this role is $95,000/year to $105,000/year. The range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
